Volkswagen presented a further developed version of the Taigun SUV concept at Auto Expo 2014.characteristics: Compact dimensions, spacious interior, an efficient high-tech engine and exterior-mounted spare wheel.

 First concept - presented in São Paulo, Brazil - the new Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) has a new rear design with an exterior-mounted spare wheel.In the spacious interior, meanwhile, the concept vehicle shows how Volkswagen is presenting a sophisticated and multi-purpose compact SUV at affordable prices.

The four-seat VW Taigun is powered by a new 1.0-litre TSI engine with 81 kW /110 PS,its combined fuel consumption is 4.7 l/100 km (110 g/km CO2).

The efficient powerplant extends the line-up of three-cylinder petrol engines, adding direct fuel injection plus turbo technology, its maximum torque of 175 Newton metres is also available at a low 1500 rpm.
