2015 Ford Mustang: The Real Thing, Leaked
While we refuse to call a Mustang a 'Stang (or a Camaro a 'Maro, for that matter) that's exactly what Autoweek has called the 2015 Ford Mustang in these leaked images of its next issue.
Sadly, while there is also text alongside the images in the leaked photographs of the magazine (via SVT Performance Forum), the resolution is so low as to make most of it unreadable.
One small area that is legible claims a 200-pound weight loss. That would put the 2015 Mustang at something close to 3,300 pounds in V-6 form. That's an improvement over the last Mustang, but not as svelte as we might have hoped.
We'll have to wait until December 5 for the full official details on the 2015 Mustang (or at least until the next leak), but we expect three engines to be offered: a 300-horsepower V-6, a 310-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder, and a 420-plus-horsepower V-8. Among the many likely variants are a GT350 model and possibly even a Mach 1.Ford has released the latest images for their sports car, 2015 Ford Mustang GT concept has been release by Ford. It comes with a sporty design and very charming, so it is suitable for car lovers mengingkan racing car design futuristic and innovative, because the 2015 Ford Mustang GT to give it.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the next Mustang will adopt many of the styling cues found on the new Fusion in a bid to attract younger buyers. Those that have seen the 2015 Mustang say it looks nearly identical to the Evos concept and has a distinct Aston Martin flair to it.
Although the Mustang is in line for a major overhaul, it will retain a few of its current design cues. Those in-the-know say the car new will keep its shark-nosed grille and round headlights.
No word on what engines might power the 2015 Mustang, but we’ve heard both turbocharged four and six-cylinder engines could be on tap.
The underside of the 2015 Mustang is also in line for a major overhaul. Recent spy shots have revealed that the next ‘Stang will be ditching its archaic solid rear axle for a modern independent setup, which should translate to a more compliant ride.
Of course the 2015 Mustang won’t be the first version of the pony car to employ an independent rear suspension as the 1999-2002-era SVT Cobra also used an IRS.
Look for the next-generation Ford Mustang to make its first public debut sometime in 2014
